March on Instagram

I <3 Instagram
March was awesome

I spent a lot of March with close friends and family! Getting fit and healthy and loosing weight!
I also had to say goodbye to my auntie in March which was incredibly sad for all of my family! She was an amazing lady and a fab aunt and I will miss her dearly!

March favourites

I have picked up some a real mix of things in March. Here are my favourites...

John Freida Sea waves sea salt spray
Such a bargain, such a great product gives me the perfect beach wave look.

Urban Outfitters Ebay bargain
I picked up this dress from Ebay for £14, it is Urban outfitters and it fits so well. Its really flattering and will be perfect for spring/summer.

Dunelm Table cover
I love my chicken table cover, it is really quirky and fits in great with my house. It also is easy to wipe over and clean- added bonus!

Tesco Taupe print duvet set
I picked this duvet up in the sale, as you can never have enough duvets, but I actually really love it. The taupe colour is really neutral and the pattern is really subtle but pretty! I love the added detailing on the pillow cases and the top of the duvet! Love this!

Vintage Camera, Charity shop bargain
I love old things, whether its for the house or for the wedding. This was a great find from a local charity shop and I love the character and style of it:)

Favourite products review - New & Old

Olay beauty fluid
I've just grabbed a new bottle of Olay beauty fluid, but I have used this for years before putting my makeup on. I use the normal/dry/combo and find it perfect for my skin. It feels really natural to apply, gets my skin super soft but isn't too heavy before makeup. Would highly recommend this as a morning moisturiser.

John Freida - Full repair mask
This has honestly saved my hair, I first started using this about 2-3 years ago. My hair was so dry and damaged from all the hair dye, heat damage etc that my hair would never grow! You use this maybe once a week on your hair, leave it in, I believe for at least an hour and wash out. It left my hair really nourished smooth and ever since in great condition. It lasts ages as you don't need a lot, but is so so worth every penny.

Liz Earle - Cleanse & polish and Instant boost tonic
These are both beautiful products. Again I have been using Liz Earle for about 3 years, when I start getting the last squeezes from the pump I want to cry. For a cleanser it is so gentle on the skin, it smells amazing and leaves your skin feeling so smooth and refreshed. The tonic has really helped even out my skin tone and had given me the confidence to wear little or NO makeup :) Highly recommend! :)

John Freida - Sea waves sea salt spray
Being a massive fan of John Freida products I was super excited when I spotted this on the shelf in my local supermarket. I love the beach wave look and find it really effortless for the summer months! I have previously tried salt sprays but found them very heavy and almost greasy (also very expensive). This was really reasonably priced and smells like coconut - perfect for summer hair! I will let you know how I get on with it but I'm certain this is going to be a great product!!

Have you tried any of these products?
What do you think?

Dunlem, Yummy food & Scrabble champion!

I recently popped to the 'seaside town' of Weston super-mare with friends for a bit of window shopping and some dinner. We popped to the amazing Dunelm, had some yummy homemade food and even played scrabble (we are so exciting).
Dunelm;
The Dunelm in Weston is amazing because it is so big! If you have never been to a Dunelm it is mainly home furnishings and accessories, duvets, pillows, kitchen ware, you get the picture. My favourite area of Dunlem is their material section. It gave me so many ideas of things I want to make, up cycle projects and they have a seriously good variety to choose from!
I've been wanting a table cover for my dining room table and picked up a great one really cheap! They had so much to choose from but I fell in love with this chicken one, it has a real 'farmhouse' feel to it, plus I love anything with farm or wild animals on. I loved the print so much I brought a matching tray to go with it :)

 I'm unsure if it matches my new cushions?!

After Dunelm we got cosy with cups of tea, ate yummy homemade Spag Bol and played scrabble.

Overall a great afternoon

Health Kick - Breakfast smoothie

After an overindulgent weekend I decided to start the week with something super fresh and healthy. This smoothie is a Breakfast replacement which will hopefully keep me going until lunchtime! It is the first time we have tried a breakfast smoothie but was really tasty, so I thought I would share the recipe.

Approx 338 cals per drink

100mls Skimmed Milk/almond milk

22.5g Whey protein – Half a scoop

Kale (as much as you can manage)

Handful of Raspberries

Handful of Blueberries

Half a tbsp. of Peanut butter

Blend & Enjoy

Let me know if you have any great breakfast or meal replacement smoothies!?

Passionfruit, Space NK and Papaya Body butter - Bristol spring day

It was such a nice day Saturday we decided to have some local fun and pop to Whiteladies/Park street in Bristol.
We popped into some shops & cafes, the sun was out it was a great afternoon.

Cath Kidston;
The Cath Kidston shop on Park street is one of my favourites as its really big. They have their usually selection downstairs, but upstairs they have a whole area for home ware. Kitchen,bedroom,bathroom etc it is so pretty, you can even order customised home ware right in the store :) One day I will have a whole house full of Cath Kidston <3

Independent cafes and shops;
I love this part of Bristol for its independent cafes and shops, I particularly love the variety and originality of the items you can buy here, you can pretty much guarantee people wont have the identical copy in their home! I loved the cafe we popped into, it prides itself on local produce for ALL their food and drink. Everyone was super friendly and I had a delicious passion fruit iced tea (going a bit crazy for passion fruit at the moment)

:)

Space NK;
I couldn't resist popping into Space NK, to my boyfriends delight... My visit was short and sweet as they didn't have the product I wanted in stock but I got colour tested for a few products I wanted to try so overall a successful stop :)

Body shop;
I purchased a new Body shop body butter in Papaya. I'm a firm lover of Body shop as I believe their quality is fantastic and they are animal friendly. Their products always smell amazing, so I always try a new flavour. The Papaya one smells absolutely gorgeous, definitely adding this to my top 3.
