Don't forget to sift your flour for a
light fluffy mixture
Don't forget to grate your lemon zest
and add to the mixture

Once in the oven start making your

Let your cake cool, pour over drizzle

(This last picture is not my own, unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the finished cake, it was eaten up before I got the chance...)

Fab Fifteen

January is the time of year when everyone feels that the new year will make them a new person, perhaps make them change their ways or give up some bad habits from the years before. I try not to over think the 'new years resolutions', as personally, I find them unsustainable. This year instead of saying 'I will be this skinny' , 'I will exercise more' , 'I will save money' I will simply try to be better at life than I have been the last year.

Drink 2-3 bottles of water a day
I now carry a bottle of water with me everywhere, which I make sure is topped up whenever I can.

Have No-Makeup days at least two times a week,
To let my skin breath and to embrace wearing no makeup:)
Not only will this make my makeup last longer, but I should spend approx 1/3 less on makeup wipes:)

Monitor my eating habits using - My Fitness Pal
By using this I hope to encourage myself to make more homemade food, loose and monitor my weight.

To be more active, run, walk, weights, yoga, take classes
Instead of watching movies and eating chocolate with friends and family I want to encourage myself and others to have an evening together doing one of the above:)

 Use social media less
I'm sure I am not the only person who scrolls through Facebook, Instagram and Twitter when they could be conversing in real conversations with someone...

Good luck with all your changes, improvements or resolutions for the year, Happy 2015.
